Big Brain Breakdown

Every Friday, we dig deep into a project or a specific topic so you can be one step (or ten) ahead of the market and pick the next winner amongst the vast number of AI tokens.

This week, we are taking onchain AI agents a step further and exploring how the Wayfinder Foundation's new omni-chain AI tool, Wayfinder, facilitates autonomous, secure, and efficient navigation across blockchain ecosystems.

Sound like a load of buzzword bullsh$t? Let’s break it down.

For our loyal fans who were here for last Friday's breakdown on AI Agents, you already understand the fundamentals of AI agents. If you’ve only just joined us, don’t worry; you can catch up by reading last Friday's breakdown. You won't regret adding a wrinkle to that brain of yours.

Anyways, let's roll. To put it simply, Wayfinder is like a super-powered GPS for AI agents navigating the world of blockchains. It's designed to make life easier for tech-savvy users and newbies by simplifying complex operations such as bridging and swapping assets across different blockchain ecosystems, utilizing "wayfinding paths."

Wayfinder isn't just about simplifying things; it's also about giving AI agents the ability to operate autonomously onchain.

This means AI can interact with various decentralized applications (dApps) across multiple blockchains, opening up a whole new realm of possibilities for gaming, commerce, finance, and even AI development itself.

Parallel Studios' Colony will be the first project to integrate Wayfinder within its survival-based game. The game features AI agents called "avatars" that continuously learn and adapt to their environment. The integration with Wayfinder will enable AI avatars to transact digital assets autonomously via dedicated wallets. The game is built upon the Echelon Prime Foundation's ecosystem (PRIME*) and will also feature Parallel trading card game assets (remember this part).

Cool tech stuff, right? Well, let's talk tokens.

First things first, the proposed token, tentatively called PROMPT, is set to have a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens (final details could change).

Here's where it gets interesting. The Wayfinder Foundation plans to distribute a whopping 40% of the PROMPT token supply to existing contributing communities and potentially other popular blockchains and decentralized network protocols. This means that if you're already part of these ecosystems, you might be in for a sweet airdrop!

Side note: if you don’t know what an airdrop is, it is essentially free tokens (read: money) for using a project before the token launches.

This was mentioned in Monday’s newsletter… you read that part, right?

PROMPT can be used to purchase AI "shells" (the word Wayfinder uses for AI agents), pay for gas fees within the network, buy private wayfinding paths, expand your shell's storage, reset your shell's memory, and even fund Verification Agents to test out wayfinding paths before your shell takes the plunge. Holders will also be able to stake their PROMPT to propose new wayfinding paths.

Here’s the catch; if your path is found to be incorrect, your staked tokens might get slashed.

No pressure, right?

If you get it right, it’s worth it. You can earn some of these sweet, sweet PROMPT tokens. We think these could be worth something (read; not nothing).

If you create a wayfinding path that gets approved, you'll earn a percentage of the gas fees paid by shells using your path. Plus, if you create a private path, you can set your own rates and keep 90% of the revenue!

If you're more of a bounty hunter, you can earn PROMPT tokens by developing new wayfinding paths or operating a Verification Agent that catches broken paths and other network errors.

Wow, you made it all the way through. Pat yourself on the back for reading all of that.

What’s the takeaway?

We think AI agents and blockchain gaming are going to be a dominant narrative this cycle, and Wayfinder appears to be the project that could be the “picks and shovels” play for several high-profile AI gaming projects, like Echelon Prime (PRIME*).

If you are new here, we mentioned the Wayfinder whitepaper launch in last Monday's newsletter. Be sure to go back and read through previous newsletters so you don’t miss any golden nuggets.

Until next time.
